While residents live in New Beginnings’ housing program in pursuit of a life change, we drive them to doctor’s appointments, to job applications, to the grocery store…wherever they need to go.
Our neighbors in need come to us for a fresh start, but poverty’s spiral presents obstacles at every turn.
The Drive Makes a Difference
We’re literally driving people to self-sufficiency.
However, our 2 vans are old and often in disrepair.
- The 1999 Dodge has logged more than 175,000 miles and
- the 2001 Ford has 161,000 miles.
Regularly, one or the other sits broken down and to the side, awaiting attention from our volunteer mechanic to fix brakes, transmission, and more.
You Can Keep Us On the Road
Please help New Beginnings by giving generously toward a newer, safer vehicle at www.nbcfl.org/donate. All donations are tax deductible.
