An important part of New Beginnings residential program is teaching clients how to change. They come to us broken and in need of repair. They want to progress into living self-sufficient lives.
We have welcomed Daniel, a formerly homeless man in Florida, into our residential program.
“I came to New Beginnings knowing that I had to change without knowing where to begin, nor to what degree.
Not only was I shown where, I was taught how by receiving appropriate and specific directions,” said Daniel.
“My previous self-destructive behavior – procrastination, avoidance and escapism have been replaced with motivation, increased self-esteem and, thanks to God, a fearless hands-on approach to what life brings my way.
Exercises done to identify twisted thinking, spiritual gifts and temperament type will replace the treasure of safety with the pleasure of growth.”
