Response to COVID 19
In an effort to adhere to the CDC social distancing recommendations and prevent the spread of COVID 19, the New Beginnings Social Services offices will be closed until further notice. If you are looking to apply for Access Florida click here. We will be closely monitoring this situation and providing updates as they become available. Relationship, Help & Hope
New Beginnings’ 3 social services centers provide benevolence and thrift store vouchers, which empower those in need by exchanging volunteer service.
We also offer Access Florida to residents in Orange, Osceola and Lake counties. This means help applying for food stamps and more, allowing people to get temporary assistance from the government while they work to exit poverty.
Emergency food and other resources are provided on a case-by-case basis. Although we are not a pantry, we do offer someone a bag of non-perishable food items and even hygiene items. These are all donated items to our ministry so that we can assist in poverty prevention and serve the homeless in our communities.
Each of our social services centers offer intake screenings for our transitional housing program.
More than this list of services, our Social Service offices also offer a caring person to talk with and the promise of hope. We seek to remind each person that they are not alone, and that help is available.
