Ray was 50 years old when he entered New Beginnings’ homeless rehabilitation program. He came to New Beginnings in need of a lot of dental work, but was able to find his smile. This was so much more than cosmetic.
According to the American Journal of Public Health, homeless people who received dental care were 30% more likely to complete a transitional program, 14% more likely to be employed or financially stable, and 15% more likely to have obtained residential housing.
To add to his good news, Ray graduated and is on to the next step, including after care.
